The design of this Business Card Case is adapted from Owen Jones and Albert Warren’s illustrations for Thomas Moore’s fictional poetic work, “Paradise and the Peri.” The verse above is part of this poem. This design is found in the colored chromolithographic version that was published in 1860 in London, by Day & Son Ltd.
